Quartzsite, AZ (January 25, 2026) – A devastating single-vehicle rollover crash on Interstate 10 claimed the lives of three people and left two others injured early Thursday morning, January 22, near Quartzsite.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety reported that the crash occurred at approximately 5:45 a.m. as the vehicle, carrying multiple occupants, was traveling along the northbound side of I-10. For reasons that remain under investigation, the vehicle veered off the roadway and rolled over.
Emergency crews responded swiftly to the scene and confirmed that three individuals were pronounced dead as a result of the crash. Two additional occupants sustained injuries and were transported to a nearby hospital for medical care. The severity of their injuries has not yet been made public.
The fatal accident took place on January 22 along a remote stretch of I-10, west of Phoenix, where long-distance travel and high speeds are common. The cause of the rollover is still unknown, and officials have not released the identities of those involved.
Troopers with the Arizona Department of Public Safety are leading the investigation into what may have caused the driver to lose control. More details are expected as the case develops.
