Rochester, NY (January 12, 2026) – A motor vehicle accident with reported injuries occurred on Sunday evening on Route 104 westbound near the Rochester East area. Emergency crews responded to the scene around 5:59 p.m.

Initial reports indicate that the crash involved at least one vehicle and resulted in non-life-threatening injuries. Paramedics evaluated the victims on-site and transported at least one person under Basic Life Support (BLS) protocols to a nearby medical facility for further care.

Fire personnel were also on scene to manage safety and assist with vehicle stabilization, while police helped maintain traffic flow around the affected lanes. The westbound side of Route 104 experienced brief delays as responders worked to clear the area.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash, but no additional details have been released.
