Injuries After Vehicle-Into-Business Crashes
Crashes involving vehicles entering businesses can injure people who are seated or standing inside. Customers may have little warning before impact. Broken glass, furniture, and damaged walls can also add to the risk of harm.
A laundromat can have narrow walkways, machines, tables, and waiting areas near the front windows. If a vehicle enters through the front of a business, people inside may be exposed to both the vehicle and flying debris. Even a brief impact can cause cuts, bruises, or more serious injuries.
After this type of crash, building damage may need to be reviewed before normal activity resumes. Doors, windows, electrical systems, and interior spaces may need inspection. These checks help determine whether the business area is safe for workers and customers.
