Salinas, CA (May 5, 2026) – A major crash involving three vehicles occurred Monday afternoon at the intersection of Spence Rd and Old Stage Rd in the Salinas area. The incident was reported at around 1:09 p.m., with initial details indicating that multiple vehicles were blocking the roadway.
Emergency units responded to the scene and found three vehicles involved, including a black Dodge Charger and two gray Nissan vehicles. One of the vehicles was reported to have gone into a ditch following the collision.
Both lanes at the intersection were temporarily blocked as crews worked to assist those involved and manage the scene. At least one person was transferred for medical attention, though the extent of injuries has not been fully confirmed.
