Fulton Co., OH (August 31, 2026) – One person was killed and two others were injured Saturday afternoon, August 29, in a two-vehicle crash at State Route 66 and County Road North in Fulton County. The collision happened at approximately 4:13 p.m.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a southbound vehicle on State Route 66 was struck after another driver failed to yield at a stop sign and entered the intersection.
The 29-year-old driver of the southbound vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in that vehicle, including a child, were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
The other driver was charged with vehicular homicide and a right-of-way violation involving a stop sign.
Authorities continue reviewing the crash. We extend our sincere condolences to the family and loved ones of the driver who died, and we hope the two injured passengers recover fully.
