Single-Vehicle Crashes Involving Children
Single-vehicle crashes can be especially dangerous when young passengers are involved. Children are more vulnerable to severe injuries due to their smaller size and the limited protection offered by standard seat belts in high-impact accidents.
Overturning vehicles often result in serious or fatal injuries, and roadway conditions, driver speed, and attention all influence the outcome. Investigators examine vehicle positioning, road design, and passenger safety measures to understand how these crashes occur. Prompt emergency response is critical for providing care and securing the scene.
