Detroit, MI (June 30, 2026) – A 2-year-old girl was hospitalized on Sunday night, June 28, after a motorcycle crash on Detroit’s west side. The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. near Interstate 96, Braile Street, and Evergreen Road.
The Detroit police said the child was on the motorcycle with her father when the bike crashed. The man operating the motorcycle left the scene afterward, according to police.
The girl was taken to an area hospital. Detectives said Monday that she was in stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery.
