Everett, WA (July 14, 2026) – A 3-year-old child was hurt after being struck by a motorcyclist near South 2nd Avenue and Eugene Street on Sunday, July 12. The collision was reported at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Emergency units arrived and provided aid before the toddler was taken to a hospital. Police described the child’s injuries as minor.
South 2nd Avenue was closed between Biglow Street and Eugene Street while evidence was documented. The road was expected to remain blocked until around 4:30 p.m.
The circumstances leading to the accident remain under review as additional information is gathered. We hope the young child has a smooth and complete recovery.
