Toledo, OH (March 19, 2026) – A head-on crash claimed one life and left another person critically hurt on March 19 in Sylvania Township. The collision happened along Talmadge Rd near Sulgrave Rd, prompting a large emergency response.
Early reports indicate two vehicles collided head-on in the area. One person was pronounced dead at the scene, while another suffered serious injuries and was taken to a hospital for urgent care. The identities of those involved have not yet been released.
Talmadge Rd was shut down between Laskey Rd and McGregor Ln for several hours as crews worked at the scene and cleared the roadway. Traffic in the surrounding area was heavily affected during the closure.
