Las Vegas, NV (July 8, 2026) – Two people were injured, and one person was rescued following a residential structure fire on Monday evening, July 6, on High Stream Avenue near Elkhorn Road and Cimarron Road in northwest Las Vegas. Emergency units responded to the home at approximately 6:37 p.m.
According to officials, a neighbor reported seeing smoke coming from the garage and believed someone was inside the residence. Firefighters arrived and found a fire in the kitchen area after entering the home. Crews rescued an adult woman from inside the residence and contained the fire to the kitchen.
Two people, a woman and a man, were taken to University Medical Center Trauma for treatment. Their conditions have not been released. The scene remains under investigation.
