Waterbury, CT (January 8, 2026) – One person sustained injuries following a multi-vehicle crash that occurred on Wednesday afternoon near Union St and Brass Mill Dr in Waterbury, just outside the Chili’s restaurant.
The accident took place around 12:55 p.m. in the area of Union St, close to the intersection with Mill St and Brass Mill Dr. Fire crews and paramedics arrived quickly at the scene to provide assistance to those involved. At least one adult victim was evaluated for injuries, and EMS transported them for further medical care.
While handling the primary crash, responders also addressed a nearby medical call involving an adult female who reported feeling unwell. Both incidents were managed simultaneously by emergency services to ensure rapid care.
Traffic in the surrounding commercial area experienced brief delays as officials secured the crash site and cleared the vehicles involved.
