Wilmington, DE (April 20, 2026) – A Wilmington woman has been arrested and charged following a deadly two-vehicle crash that occurred at the intersection of Rocky Run Parkway and Concord Pike. The collision happened around 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, when a Toyota Prius entered the intersection while turning north on a green arrow.
Investigators reported that Palazzolo showed signs of impairment at the scene. She has since been charged with second-degree vehicular homicide, driving under the influence, failure to stop at a red light, and not having required insurance. She was later arraigned and taken into custody on a secured bond.
The roadway remained closed for several hours as emergency units worked at the scene. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash, and more details will be released as they become available. We extend our sincere condolences to the family of the deceased.
