What Is Typically Reviewed After a Building Fire?
After a building fire, several areas are examined to learn how it started and spread. Investigators often look at the point of origin and nearby materials that may have fueled the flames.
Electrical systems and appliances inside the structure may also be reviewed. Faults in wiring or equipment can sometimes lead to fires in residential or commercial spaces.
The building layout and how fire moved through different levels are also considered. These details can help explain how quickly conditions changed and why certain areas were more affected than others.
