Buda, TX (May 14, 2026) – A 23-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash late night on Interstate 35 in Buda, according to local police.
Authorities said officers responded shortly before 11:30 p.m. to the southbound lanes of I-35 near the 219-mile marker after reports of a serious motorcycle crash.
Investigators stated that the motorcyclist was thrown into the roadway during the incident and was subsequently struck by at least two passing vehicles. Emergency responders arrived and found the rider suffering from severe injuries. He was transported for medical treatment but later died from his injuries.
Police identified the victim as William Lujan, 23, of Kyle.
No additional injuries were immediately reported. Officials have not released further details regarding what may have caused the initial crash.
