What Happens When Emergency Vehicles Are Involved in Crashes
Crashes involving emergency vehicles often occur while officers or first responders are actively responding to calls.
Lights and sirens are used to alert other drivers, but motorists are still required to yield and proceed with caution.
Failure to slow down or recognize an approaching emergency vehicle can lead to serious collisions and additional damage, especially in busy urban areas.
