What Makes Left-Turn Crashes with Large Trucks Especially Dangerous
Collisions involving left turns across oncoming traffic are among the most serious types of crashes.
When large vehicles like tractor-trailers are involved, their size and weight significantly increase the impact force.
Drivers turning left must carefully judge the speed and distance of oncoming vehicles, as even a small miscalculation can lead to a fatal outcome.
