College Station, TX (April 27, 2026) – An 18-year-old high school student was killed on Monday morning in a tragic crash while commuting to school in College Station.
According to the College Station Police Department, the collision occurred along Raymond Stotzer Parkway (FM 60) near Easterwood Airport. Investigators say the student was traveling eastbound when her vehicle crossed into the westbound lanes and collided with an oncoming pickup truck.
The student, who attended Aggieland High School, was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed she had been traveling from Caldwell and was just weeks away from graduation. Her identity has not been publicly released.
The driver of the pickup truck sustained injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The extent of those injuries has not been disclosed.
The crash caused significant traffic disruptions on Monday morning, with all westbound lanes shut down and traffic diverted onto FM 47. Eastbound traffic was reduced to one lane as crews worked the scene and conducted an investigation.
