Motorcycle Safety and Collision Awareness
Motorcycle riders are particularly vulnerable during crashes because they have less protection than vehicle occupants. Even collisions at moderate speeds can result in serious injuries.
Drivers are urged to watch for motorcycles, especially at intersections, and riders should wear protective gear, including helmets, jackets, and gloves. Awareness, defensive driving, and maintaining safe distances can help reduce the risk of crashes in urban areas.
