Hillsboro, OR (January 15, 2026) – A traffic accident resulting in injuries was reported Thursday morning near the intersection of Southwest Adams Avenue and Southwest Elk Street in Hillsboro.
The crash occurred at approximately 8:28 a.m., prompting Engine 62 to respond to the scene. Upon arrival, emergency crews found at least one vehicle involved in the collision and began assessing those injured.
Medical responders treated individuals on site, and at least one person may have been transported to a nearby hospital for further care. The full extent of injuries has not yet been confirmed by authorities.
The intersection near SW Adams Ave and SW Elk St, located in a residential area of Hillsboro, experienced temporary traffic delays as crews worked to secure the scene and investigate the cause of the crash.
Officials continue to examine the events leading up to the collision.
