Hillsboro, OR (January 15, 2026) – A serious motor vehicle crash with injuries and possible extrication was reported Thursday morning at the intersection of Southwest Oak Street and Southwest Adams Avenue in Hillsboro.
The incident occurred around 8:26 a.m. and was quickly upgraded to a second alarm response due to the severity of the crash. Emergency crews from Washington County, along with additional rescue and medical units, responded to the scene.
Initial reports indicated that at least one person was injured and may have required extrication from a vehicle. Crews worked to assess the situation and provide medical assistance to those involved. One patient was confirmed injured, though the extent of injuries has not yet been officially released.
The intersection of SW Oak St and SW Adams Ave was partially blocked while responders worked to manage the scene and begin an investigation. This area, located in a central part of Hillsboro, sees regular commuter traffic and has been the site of previous collisions.
