St. Johns County, FL (July 14, 2026) – A 28-year-old man was killed after being struck by a semi-truck on State Road 16 in St. Augustine on Tuesday morning, July 14.
The crash was reported at approximately 6:42 a.m. after the man entered SR-16 and was hit by a commercial truck. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. The circumstances leading up to the crash remain under review.
