What Happens After a School Bus Crash With Injuries?
School bus crashes can require a large emergency response because several passengers may need to be checked at the same time. Even when injuries appear minor, students may be evaluated by medical crews to make sure they are safe.
A hospital assessment can help identify pain, bruising, or other injuries that may not be clear right away. This is especially common when children are involved in a serious crash.
Road closures may also follow a school bus accident. Large vehicles, debris, and emergency equipment can block travel lanes. Keeping traffic away from the area helps create space for medical care, vehicle removal, and cleanup.
