What Factors Are Often Reviewed After a Residential Fire?
After a residential fire, several key elements are typically examined to determine how the incident began and spread. Investigators often look at possible ignition sources such as electrical systems, heating equipment, or open flames within the home.
The layout of the residence and how quickly the fire moved through different areas can also provide useful insight. Burn patterns, smoke damage, and structural impact may help explain the fire’s progression.
In addition, attention is often given to safety features like smoke alarms and fire exits. These details can help paint a clearer picture of the circumstances surrounding the fire and how it affected those inside the home.
