Ocala, FL (February 1, 2026) – A hit-and-run crash with injuries and a roadblock was reported in the early morning hours on February 1 along County Road 484, just west of Marion Oaks Blvd in Ocala.
Marion County emergency crews responded shortly after 6:23 a.m. following alerts of a collision that left at least one person injured. Upon arrival, responders found that one of the vehicles involved had fled the scene, prompting a search for the suspect driver.
Paramedics attended to the injured at the scene, though the extent of injuries and number of victims involved has not been confirmed. Due to the severity of the crash and the abandoned vehicle, the roadway in the vicinity was partially blocked, affecting early-morning traffic through the area.
Deputies remained on-site to gather evidence and initiate an investigation into the fleeing driver. As of now, the identity of the hit-and-run suspect has not been made public, and no arrests have been announced.
