Richmond, VA (January 12, 2026) – Emergency personnel responded to a motor vehicle crash Friday evening in Richmond’s Southside that left two people injured, according to dispatch communications.
The crash occurred around 7:43 p.m. at the intersection of Stockton St and East 12th St. Engine 13 was among the first units on scene and confirmed one vehicle was involved in the collision. Two individuals sustained injuries requiring transport to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Additional police units were also dispatched to assist with traffic control and begin the preliminary investigation into the cause of the crash. The current conditions of those injured have not been disclosed, and no further identifying information has been released.
The Richmond Police Department is continuing to review the incident and has not yet stated whether any citations or charges will be filed.
