San Francisco, CA (January 11, 2026) – Emergency medical teams responded to a motor vehicle accident on Friday morning that resulted in injuries to a 27-year-old woman. The incident occurred near Potrero Ave, with first responders from Rescue 61 transporting the patient to San Francisco General Hospital under a Code 2 trauma alert.
The woman, who was reportedly wearing her seatbelt at the time of the crash, suffered chest pain upon palpation, discomfort in her right jaw, and visible redness on the front of her chin. Despite the injuries, she remained fully conscious with no reported loss of consciousness or use of blood thinners. Notably, no airbags were deployed during the collision.
Paramedics noted stable vital signs en route, including a blood pressure of 149/90 and an oxygen level of 93% on room air. The trauma team at San Francisco General was notified ahead of arrival, with an estimated ETA of 10 to 15 minutes from the time of the call.
Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the cause of the crash or whether other vehicles were involved. An investigation is ongoing.
