Emergency Response Crash Risks
Crashes involving emergency responders can occur when officers and first responders are traveling quickly to assist at active incidents. Busy intersections, heavy traffic, and urgent response conditions can increase the risk of secondary collisions.
Authorities remind drivers to remain alert when emergency vehicles are nearby, obey traffic laws, and yield appropriately to help protect both first responders and the public during emergency situations.
