A gray Honda was struck by a white Toyota Corolla near the highway’s number one lane, which was temporarily blocked following the crash. A fourth vehicle believed to be connected to the incident fled the scene before emergency units arrived.
Officers checked the area near the 4th Street exit in an attempt to locate the additional vehicle but were unable to find it. Both people involved in the primary collision were attended to at the scene. No further details about the extent of injuries have been confirmed at this time.
