Santa Paula, CA (January 2, 2026) – At least one person suffered serious injuries in a two-vehicle crash that occurred on New Year’s Day at the intersection of West Telegraph Rd and North Briggs Rd in Santa Paula, according to California Highway Patrol reports.
The collision, reported around 4:32 p.m., involved a gray Honda Civic and a truck. Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered two occupants trapped inside the Civic. Firefighters worked urgently to extricate the victims from the heavily damaged vehicle.
One of the individuals was reportedly unresponsive at the scene. Paramedics provided immediate aid, and at least one person was confirmed to have sustained serious injuries. The current condition of the second occupant and the driver of the truck has not been disclosed.
