What Causes Multi-Vehicle Crashes on Busy Roadways
Multi-vehicle crashes often occur on busy roads where traffic flow can change quickly. Sudden stops, lane changes, or limited reaction time can lead to chain-reaction collisions.
When several vehicles are involved, even a minor initial impact can escalate into a larger incident affecting multiple lanes.
Investigators typically review traffic patterns, driver actions, and roadway conditions to better understand how these crashes develop.
