Motorcycle Safety on Curves and Rural Roads
Motorcycles are especially vulnerable on curves, where reduced traction and high speeds can lead to loss of control. Hitting guardrails or other roadside barriers can result in severe or fatal injuries, even when riders wear helmets.
Rural roads can pose additional hazards, including uneven pavement, debris, and tight turns. Wearing protective gear, reducing speed on curves, and maintaining proper lane positioning can help riders minimize risks on these types of roadways.
