Greenup County, KY (August 11, 2026) – Three people were airlifted to a hospital after a major two-vehicle accident at 300 Bellefonte Princess Rd in Greenup County on Sunday, August 9.
Greenup County 911 dispatchers received the crash call at approximately 2:20 p.m. The Russell Fire and Police Departments, Bellefonte Police Department, and Greenup County EMS responded to the scene.
The roadway was closed following the accident but has since reopened. No additional information about the identities or conditions of those transported was immediately available.
