Cadet, MO (August 31, 2026) – A Saturday night accident at MO-21 and MO-E in Washington County left three people injured, according to an official report. The incident happened around 8:15 p.m. on August 29 after a northbound pickup turned into the path of a southbound vehicle.
According to the crash report, a 17-year-old male was driving a 1994 GMC 1500 northbound in the left-turn lane. The pickup then turned left into the path of a southbound 2008 Hyundai Elantra, striking its front-left side. The teenage driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital.
A 42-year-old female driving the Hyundai and a 19-year-old female passenger also suffered moderate injuries and were transported to the same hospital. Both vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene. Our thoughts are with everyone injured, and we hope they recover quickly.
