West Des Moines, IA (April 22, 2026) – A motorcyclist died following a crash involving a school bus on Tuesday, April 21, in West Des Moines. The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. in the 300 block of EP True Parkway.
Emergency units responded to the scene and provided care to the rider, identified as 51-year-old Brian Franklin of West Des Moines. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
