What Factors Are Investigated in Hit-and-Run Fatal Crashes
In fatal crashes where a driver leaves the scene, investigators work to identify the fleeing individual and determine their role in the collision.
Evidence such as vehicle damage, witness statements, and surveillance footage can help reconstruct what happened.
Hit-and-run incidents are taken especially seriously, as leaving the scene can delay aid to victims and complicate emergency response efforts.
