Carroll County, TN (April 3, 2026) – Authorities provided an update on Tuesday, March 31, regarding a deadly multi-vehicle crash involving a school bus that occurred on Friday, March 27, in Carroll County.

The crash took place along Highway 70 and involved three vehicles, including a school bus carrying students from the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System. Officials confirmed that two students were killed in the collision, while several others were hurt and remain hospitalized.

Investigators identified the bus driver as Sabrina R. Ducksworth. The crash also involved a dump truck towing an attenuator, driven by Dennis E. Coleman Jr., and a Chevrolet Trailblazer operated by James Bays.

Reports indicate the bus was returning from a field trip at the time of the crash. A total of 29 people were on board, including 24 students and five adults. Emergency units responded to the scene, and multiple medical helicopters transported victims to trauma centers in Nashville and Memphis, while others were taken to nearby hospitals.
