How Wrong-Way Driving Can Lead to Head-On Collisions
Wrong-way driving can create dangerous situations on roadways with multiple lanes. When a vehicle enters opposing traffic, drivers may have little time to react.
Head-on crashes often result in severe damage due to the combined speed of both vehicles. Larger vehicles, like semi-trucks, can increase the force of impact.
Road design, visibility, and driver awareness all affect how these incidents occur. Even a brief entry into the wrong lane can lead to serious outcomes.
