Sheckler Road was closed in both directions for several hours while crews worked to clear the crash. The crash remains under investigation.

What Causes Vehicles to Lose Control and Rollover?
Roads like Sheckler Road west of Fallon can present risks when a vehicle drifts onto the shoulder. Uneven surfaces or sudden steering corrections may cause a vehicle to lose stability.
When a driver tries to return to the roadway quickly, the vehicle may begin to spin. This loss of control can increase the chance of a rollover, especially at higher speeds or when traction is reduced.
Vehicle type and road conditions also play a role. Pickup trucks may be more prone to rolling if balance is disrupted, and wide movements across lanes can increase the risk of flipping.
