How Dirtbike Accidents Can Lead to Serious Injuries
Dirtbike crashes can cause serious injuries because riders have limited protection during a fall or impact. Even with helmets and riding gear, a person can be hurt when thrown from the bike or struck by the ground.
Roadway conditions may also affect the severity of a dirtbike accident. Uneven surfaces, curves, loose gravel, and limited shoulders can make it harder for a rider to stay in control.
Medical helicopters are sometimes requested after crashes involving serious trauma. They may help move injured people to advanced care more quickly, especially when ground travel could take longer.
