How Pedestrian Crashes on Highway Intersections Are Typically Investigated
Pedestrian crashes near highway interchanges often involve multiple factors, including traffic speed, lighting, and crossing points. Intersections connecting local roads to interstate ramps can be especially complex for both drivers and pedestrians.
Investigators typically examine vehicle positions, witness statements, and roadway design to understand how the collision occurred. Visibility and timing are often key factors in these types of incidents.
Even when initial details are limited, medical evaluations help determine the severity of injuries and guide further reporting as information becomes available.
