Why Two-Vehicle Collisions Can Lead to Multiple Injuries
Collisions involving two vehicles often result in multiple injuries because passengers in both cars can be impacted. Even low-speed crashes can produce enough force to cause sprains, cuts, or concussions.
Factors such as road conditions, visibility, and vehicle speed influence the severity of injuries to occupants. Emergency responders quickly assess all people involved to ensure those who need medical attention are treated promptly.
Investigators also examine vehicle positions, skid marks, and witness accounts to determine how the crash occurred and prevent similar incidents in the future.
