How Multi-Vehicle Crashes Impact Intersections
Crashes involving multiple vehicles at intersections can lead to complex and serious situations. When larger vehicles like buses and trucks are involved, the force of impact can affect several vehicles at once.
Traffic flow, vehicle positioning, and timing all play a role in how these collisions occur. A single impact can quickly involve additional vehicles nearby.
Emergency crews often need to assist multiple people and manage traffic disruptions. Investigators later examine vehicle damage, witness statements, and roadway conditions to understand how the crash happened.
