How Motorcycle Crashes Can Lead to Serious Injuries
Motorcycle crashes often result in injuries because riders have less protection compared to those inside vehicles. Even at moderate speeds, impacts can cause significant harm.
Intersections are common locations for these crashes, especially when drivers misjudge distance or fail to see an approaching motorcycle. Visibility can be a challenge, particularly in areas with heavy traffic.
Protective gear and defensive riding can help reduce risk, while drivers are expected to stay alert and check carefully for motorcycles before turning or crossing lanes.
