What Is Typically Reviewed in Single-Vehicle Crashes Involving Fire?
In single-vehicle crashes that result in fire, investigators often examine how and why the vehicle left the roadway. This includes factors such as speed, driver control, and roadway alignment.
Physical evidence from the scene is also reviewed. This can include tire marks, vehicle damage, and the car’s final resting position, which help reconstruct the sequence of events.
Fire patterns are also assessed to determine how the blaze started and spread. These findings help clarify both the crash dynamics and the severity of the incident.
