Officials said the collision occurred around 12:30 p.m. near mile marker 409 on Interstate 40 in Sevier County, Tennessee. According to Jeff Coffey of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred when a vehicle rear-ended an ambulance traveling along the interstate.
